What Unique Crafting Does

Unique crafting lets you break down unused unique (and higher-tier specialty) gear into craft shards and materials, then rebuild toward Primordial or other crafted unique targets. It solves inventory bloat from duplicate uniques that lose to a better-rolled keeper of the same slot.

Salvage Loop

Identify uniques you will never equip: wrong damage type, dead stat lines, or superseded by a Mythic roll. Salvage at the unique crafting station in the hub. Keep one screenshot archive of salvage yields per rarity so you know whether to farm more uniques or craft immediately.

Never salvage your only Unique that still beats every Rare in the slot—crafting targets are aspirational, not a reason to brick your Hard clear.

Primordial and Crafted Targets

Primordial gear sits above normal unique power for players who invest materials correctly. Watch community craft videos for current recipes—Twin Atlas tweaks costs after patches. Physical and magic craft lines stay separate; do not dump shards into the wrong type tree.

Pair crafted keepers with gem sockets and Magic Dust rerolls. Craft first when the base item is locked, then dust, then gem—same order as normal Unique upgrades.

Economy vs Gemcrafting

Unique crafting burns unique gear; gemcrafting burns boss gems. They do not share materials. Split weekly farm time: two Shimmering/Mushroom gem nights, one unique farm night on Golden Realm or Astral Abyss Hard for unique drop volume.
